Located in Columbus, Indiana since 1981 we are here to service your Midwest full load trucking and warehousing needs. 

 

Recognizing a need for commercial warehouse space in Columbus to support and ease the production process of a few paper manufacturers, Columbus Warehouse  & Cartage, INC began operations in 1981 in a small warehouse at the municipal airport. Limited trucking services were provided on one small single-axle truck. 

 

Today, our facilities and services have grown to offer: 

  • Inventory control with monthly reporting

  • Storage of raw material with daily delivery to support production schedules

  • Warehousing of finished goods to accommodate on time delivery  

  • Available drop trailer to assist customer receiving and shipping needs 

  • Sorting and order filling 

​In total, Columbus Warehouse provides over one-quarter million square feet of cost-competitive, special services, temperature control, food grade and standard warehouse space. The company operates 15 late-model tractors and 65 large-capacity trailers, providing delivery and distribution services to the Midwest region and beyond. This equipment is all well-maintained to assure prompt and safe delivery and is controlled by a central dispatch in Columbus, Indiana. 

Additionally, Columbus Warehouse maintains intrastate common-carrier statewide authority, inter-state contract carrier authority, and proper insurance coverage for liability and cargo. These authorities enhance our abilities to serve the transportation needs of a wide variety of customers.
